Acceptance of these terms

By using the identities.dev presence service (the "Bot") or its API, you agree to these Terms of Service. The Bot is operated by Silver Dev Studios (an unregistered, non-trademarked project), operated in California, USA. The presence API is self-built for identities.dev and is not Lanyard; we are not affiliated with the Lanyard project.

The API is public

The presence API is offered as a public API. Third parties may use it independently for their own applications. We are not affiliated with, and are not responsible for, those external uses. Use of the API by third parties does not imply endorsement or a relationship with identities.dev.

You must comply with Discord's terms

The Bot operates through Discord's gateway and REST API using legitimate intents, under Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. It does not bypass Discord's privacy controls. Your use of any Discord-related feature is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Bot or its API to abuse, harass, stalk, or doxx any person.
• Scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the API.
• Use presence data for any unlawful purpose.

Presence data is intended for display purposes (showing your own or a consenting user's status). It is not provided for surveillance or profiling of others.

Accuracy

Presence data is best-effort and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. The Bot provides no warranty as to the real-time correctness of any presence information.

No warranty

The Bot and its API are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silver Dev Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot or its API.

Changes & availability

We may change, restrict, or discontinue the Bot or its API at any time, without notice. We may update these Terms; the "Effective" date above reflects when they were last revised.

Age

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country, whichever is higher.
